Re-turfing after an extension, drive or building work
Builders gone and the lawn's a mess? Get the ground back into shape, then lay fresh turf: do it yourself with our turf and topsoil, or have us lay it.
Sort the ground first
- Clear every bit of rubble, concrete splashes, plastic and timber offcuts from the top 150mm.
- Break up compacted ground where skips, mixers or vans stood. Turf won't root into hard-packed soil.
- Top up with topsoil to bring the area level with paths and patio edges.
- Level, firm and rake, then lay the turf the day it arrives.
Turf, topsoil, or the whole job
We supply fresh turf cut to order and screened topsoil. Turf can be delivered or collected from our yard; topsoil is delivered, usually separately. If you'd rather not tackle it, we can prepare the ground and lay the turf. Clearing rubble isn't included as standard, but we can price it separately.
